Pénélope Bagieu is a French illustrator and comic artist renowned for her distinctive storytelling and visual style. Born on January 22, 1982, in Paris, she gained early recognition through her autobiographical comic blog "My Quite Fascinating Life," which showcased her sharp wit and observational humor. Her work spans graphic novels, illustrations, and comics, often blending personal narratives with social commentary.

After completing a bachelor's degree in Economic and Social Studies, Bagieu pursued her artistic education at ESAT Paris, the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, and Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London, graduating in December 2006. Her multidisciplinary background informs her approach to storytelling, which combines vivid artwork with incisive, often humorous explorations of contemporary life.
