Penelope Douglas is an acclaimed American author, best known for her work in the contemporary and New Adult romance and erotica genres. She has written several popular series, including the Devil's Night series and the Fall Away series. Douglas has gained a wide following and critical success, becoming a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author.
Douglas has an educational background in Public Administration and Education, having earned a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master's degree from Loyola University New Orleans. Prior to becoming a novelist, she worked as a teacher for eight years. Douglas is known for not shying away from taboo topics in her writing, and for her willingness to push boundaries and step out of her comfort zone.
Douglas was born in Dubuque, Iowa and is the oldest of five children. She is married and has a daughter named Aydan. When she is not writing, Douglas enjoys touring old ships and going on road trips.
