Penny Reid is also a full-time researcher in the bio tech industry, and in her limited free time, she is a general crafter, sewer, crocheter, knitter, and mother to three children. She manages the #OwnVoices-focused mentorship incubator and publishing imprint, Smartypants Romance. Despite her many responsibilities, Penny considers writing to be a source of enjoyment and a hobby rather than a career. She is known for her ability to write 1000 words an hour and can produce 8000 words of writing every week.
