Penny Zang

Penny Zang is the author of the debut novel "Doll Parts." Her fiction has appeared in literary journals such as the Potomac Review, Louisville Review, and Superstition Review. In 2024, she was honored as the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Fiction Fellow by the South Carolina Academy of Authors, recognizing her contributions to the literary community.

A graduate of West Virginia University's MFA program in Fiction, Zang draws from her academic background to craft nuanced narratives. Originally from Maryland, she now resides in South Carolina with her family and teaches writing at a two-year college. Her work explores themes of identity and human connection, often blending sharp observation with emotional depth.
