Peter McLean

Peter McLean was born in 1972 near London and grew up in the shadow of Norwich Cathedral. He is the son of an English teacher and a bank manager, and it was during his time at school where he discovered his love for storytelling. McLean spent most of his time during his school years making up stories, a passion that has stayed with him throughout his life.

After school, McLean worked in corporate IT for 25 years. Despite his successful career in IT, he never lost his passion for storytelling. He is now a full-time author and has written several series, including the War for the Rose Throne series, which begins with Priest of Bones, and the Burned Man series. In addition to his full-length works, McLean has also written numerous short stories for Warhammer.

McLean's writing is known for its compelling characters, intricate plotlines, and richly detailed worlds. His work often explores themes of power, loyalty, and the human condition. Despite his success, McLean remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He is married and continues to live near London, where he spends his time writing and creating new stories.
