After several successful years in television, Telep decided to return to his education, enrolling at the University of Central Florida and eventually earning both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Throughout his career, Telep has written in a variety of genres, including fantasy, science fiction, adventure/military action, and medical drama, as well as video game tie-ins and television and film. He has also worked as a producer of live animation and action and is currently a teacher of scriptwriting, creative writing, and fiction writing at the University of Central Florida.
