Petina Gappah

Petina Gappah is a distinguished author, born in Zambia in 1971 and raised in Zimbabwe. She has a unique background, having been one of the first black students to attend a previously all-white primary school. This experience, along with her upbringing in Zimbabwe, has greatly influenced her writing, providing her with a distinctive perspective on life and society.

Gappah is not only a writer but also a highly educated individual with law degrees from prestigious institutions such as Cambridge, Graz University, and the University of Zimbabwe.
