R.E. Sargent is an author specializing in suspense, supernatural, and horror fiction. He has published three novels, including "Relative Terror" and "One-Star Review," along with four novelettes and numerous short stories. His "Fury" series, which includes the ongoing "Fury - Scorned" installment, showcases his talent for crafting gripping narratives. Sargent's work has also appeared in notable anthologies, such as the Splatterpunk Award–nominated "If I Die Before I Wake Volume 3 – Tales of Deadly Women and Retribution," where his short story "Lucy" was featured.

Born in California and raised primarily in Arizona, Sargent developed a lifelong passion for literature, inspired by authors like Dean Koontz, Stephen King, and Roald Dahl.
