Rachel Brady is an accomplished American author, known for her mystery novels. In addition to her writing, she also works as a biomedical engineer for NASA. Brady attended both Wright State University and The Ohio State University, where she earned her degrees. She began her writing career as a way to escape the rigors of her scientific work.
Brady is perhaps best known for her Emily Locke Mystery series. The series features a different sporting community in each book, providing a unique backdrop for each story. Brady's debut novel, Final Approach, was the first book in the Emily Locke series and was published in 2009. Its sequel, Dead Lift, was released in December of 2010.
In addition to her work as an author and engineer, Brady has also served as the Vice President of the Southwest Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America. She has a passion for health and fitness, enjoys playing the acoustic guitar, and has a love of books from all genres. Brady currently resides outside of Houston, Texas, with her family.
