Rachel Hauck

Rachel Hauck is a highly accomplished author, known for her work in the Christian women’s fiction, chick lit, and romance genres. She made her debut in 2004 with the novel “Lambert’s Pride,” which she co-wrote with Lynn A. Coleman. Since then, she has written numerous series and standalone novels, including the popular Lambert, Nashvegas, Lowcountry, Songbird, Heart’s Bend, and Royal Wedding series. Hauck’s work has been well-received in the literary world, earning her two RITA award nominations and the Romantic Times Book Club Inspirational Novel of the Year award for “The Wedding Dress.”

In addition to her success as an author, Hauck is also an executive board member for the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and a mentor for aspiring writers. She is a staunch Christian and leads worship at the ACFW’s annual conferences. Hauck is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned a degree in Journalism. She worked in the corporate world before leaving in 2004 to pursue a full-time career in writing. Hauck currently resides in Florida with her husband and their dogs, where she writes from the balcony of her home and enjoys attending Buckeyes football games.

Hauck is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, who has won the Christy Award and been a double RITA finalist. Her novel, The Wedding Dress, was named Inspirational Novel of the Year by Romantic Times Book Club and she is the recipient of RT’s Career Achievement Award. Her book, Once Upon A Prince, was made into an original Hallmark movie. She is well-known for her split time novels and royal romances. Rachel is a graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in Journalism, and a former sorority girl. She and her husband live in central Florida, where she is a huge Buckeyes football fan.
