RaeAnne Thayne is a bestselling author of romance and romantic suspense novels, known for her Cowboys of Cold Creek, Hope's Crossing, and Haven Point series. Born in the United States, Thayne always had a passion for reading and writing, but she initially had other career aspirations. She considered becoming an actress, teacher, or lawyer, and it wasn't until she took a journalism class in high school that she discovered her true calling. Thayne pursued a degree in journalism and began her career as a reporter for a local newspaper, where she covered a wide range of stories, from interviews with country music stars to articles about local motorcycle gangs.
