Rajat Ubhaykar

Rajat Ubhaykar is an author and journalist with a background in electrical engineering and management consulting. After graduating from IIT Kanpur, he pursued journalism at the Asian College of Journalism. His debut book, "Truck de India!," published by Simon & Schuster, explores India's highways and trucking culture through immersive reportage. Ubhaykar's writing has appeared in prominent publications including Mint, Hindustan Times, Scroll.in, and Roads & Kingdoms.

A recipient of the PoleStar Award in 2016 for his journalistic work, Ubhaykar combines meticulous research with narrative flair. His writing often delves into travel, infrastructure, and cultural anthropology, reflecting his interest in India's diverse landscapes and heritage.
