Ray Daniel

Ray Daniel is an award-winning American author, best known for his crime fiction novels. He is particularly recognized for his Tucker Mysteries series, which are set in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. Daniel's short story, "Give Me a Dollar," won the Derringer Award for short fiction in 2014, and another one of his short stories, "Driving Miss Rachel," was selected as a distinguished short story by Otto Penzler, editor of The Best American Mystery Stories series in 2013.

Ray Daniel was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and developed an interest in mystery books from an early age. He was inspired by popular literary works of authors such as Karin Slaughter, Robert Parker, Steve Ulfelder, and Lee Child. Daniel holds a Computer Engineering degree and an English minor from the Massachusetts University. Before becoming a full-time writer, he worked in the software industry for many years. His educational background and work experience have helped him bring a unique perspective to his crime fiction novels. Most of his books are written in the first person and are known for their wisecracking, thrilling, and intriguing storylines.
