Rebecca Adler

Rebecca Adler is a well-known author who writes cozy mysteries under the pseudonym Rebecca Adler, as well as sweet contemporary romances under her real name, Gina Lee Nelson. She grew up on the sugar beaches of the Florida Gulf Coast, where she developed a love for storytelling and the dramatic arts. Adler was drawn to the Big Apple at a young age, where she studied acting on Broadway. However, her life took a turn when she followed a dark-eyed cowboy to the Southwest.

Before becoming a writer, Adler acted in various places, including children's theater in Jacksonville, dinner theater in Mississippi, can-can club in Florida, and even at an acting school in Broadway. She also worked as a waitress at a late-night drive-in restaurant in New Jersey. One of her craziest experiences was over speeding at the subway at 2.30 in the morning after work. These experiences shaped her into the versatile writer she is today.

Adler is a former president of the North Texas Romance Writers and holds memberships in Sisters in Crime and Romance Writers of America. She has lived in various places, including Mississippi and New York, but currently resides in Texas with her three sons. Her Taste of Texas culinary mystery series, written under the name Rebecca Adler, is a cozy, humorous, and delicious blend of mystery and Tex-Mex recipes. Her sweet contemporary romances, written under the name Gina Lee Nelson, have a sweet, Southern-fried flavor. Adler's writing is a reflection of her vibrant personality, and she continues to add a touch of the dramatic to her life through her stories.
