Rebecca Alexander is a British author who has made a name for herself in the genres of crime fiction, supernatural contemporary, historical thriller, and women’s fiction. After a successful career as a psychologist, Alexander decided to take a break to focus on raising and educating her six children at home. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for writing and pursued an MA in Creative Writing. Her novel, The Secrets of Life and Death, was a finalist in the Mslexia novel writing competition in 2011, which led to a book deal for a trilogy.
In addition to her writing, Alexander is also a dedicated creative writing teacher and artist. She currently resides in Devon, England with her husband and cat, overlooking the sea. She has two grandchildren and enjoys spending time with her family. Alexander’s writing is influenced by her background in psychology and her interest in folk and superstitious beliefs. Her latest series in women’s fiction tells the stories of women connected by an island in the Atlantic, with each character facing challenges in the present day. She has also written a crime series featuring an archaeologist trying to solve crimes in the past, with a sequel set to be published in the near future.
