Rebecca Hagan Lee is a successful and prolific author, best known for her award-winning and best-selling novels and novellas. After graduating from college with a degree in fine arts and gaining experience in radio, Lee decided to pursue a career in television journalism. However, she soon realized that she was a small-town girl at heart and settled in a town where the media consisted of a weekly newspaper and an AM radio station.
In search of a creative outlet, Lee turned to writing romance. She drew inspiration from the hundreds of episodes of Western television shows she had watched growing up, such as Daniel Boone, Big Valley, Gunsmoke, and Bonanza. Lee's stories feature good guys who always win, bad guys who always lose, and heroines who are richly rewarded with happy endings. In her world, heroines don't die or get killed off to make way for the next episode's new love interest. Instead, they get their men and help them become ideal husbands, lovers, friends, and fathers.
Lee's writing career has been marked by numerous accolades and successes. She has won a Waldenbooks Award, a Georgia Romance Writers Maggie Award, several Romantic Times awards, and has been nominated for an RWA Rita Award. Her works have been published in nine different languages, and she currently lives in Georgia with her husband, two beloved Quarter Horses, and a miniature schnauzer named after literary icon Harper Lee. Her "Borrowed Brides" series has been an Amazon bestseller since its release. When she's not writing, Lee can be found riding off into the sunset with her hero or seated at her computer, working hard to make her dreams come true.
