Renée Ahdieh is a bestselling American author, well-known for her work in young adult fantasy novels. She has written successful series such as The Wrath and the Dawn, as well as standalone novels that have gained popularity in the fantasy, romance, and young adult genres. Ahdieh completed her graduation from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, before becoming a full-time writer.
Ahdieh grew up in South Korea, where she spent her early years in high-rise buildings, which may explain her enjoyment of having her head in the clouds. Currently, she resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and a pet dog. In her spare time, Ahdieh enjoys dancing salsa, collecting shoes, and has a passion for all kinds of curry, rescue dogs, and college basketball.
