Rex Carpenter is an American author who was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He has a deep appreciation for the region, which often serves as the backdrop for his writing. Growing up, Carpenter had a particular fondness for language arts classes and pursued English Literature in university. Although he briefly tried his hand at writing in Hollywood, he discovered that his true passion lay in teaching. However, a lingering desire to tell stories never quite left him.
In 2013, Carpenter decided to take a leap of faith and began writing. He published his first episode a few months later, and since then, he has been working tirelessly to improve his craft and satisfy his growing reader base. When he's not writing, Carpenter enjoys snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, reading, and watching movies. He currently resides in Cascadia with his wife and daughter, and together they share their home with a rotating cast of guppy fish. Carpenter is the author of "The Fixer" series, a political thriller that follows JC Bannister, a hitman for hire who prefers to call himself a solutionist. His readers have come to know and love him for his heart-pounding action sequences and intricate plotlines.
