Rhidian Brook

Renowned Welsh author, Rhidian Brook, was born in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1964. He is known for his works in historical fiction, adult fiction, young adult, and nonfiction novels. Brook's first book, "The Testimony of Taliesin Jones," was a great success, winning three prestigious awards, including the Somerset Maugham Award in 1997. The book was later adapted into a movie with the same name, featuring Ian Bannen and Jonathan Pryce in lead roles.

After the success of his first book, Brook continued to write, publishing his second novel, "Jesus and The Adman," in 1999. However, it was his third novel, "The Aftermath," published in 2013, that brought him international acclaim. The book has been translated into 25 foreign languages and was developed into a feature film with Alexander Skarsgard and Keira Knightley in lead roles. Brook's short stories have been published in several reputable magazines, and he has also written for television and film.
