Richard Harding Davis

Richard Harding Davis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 18, 1864, and is known for his work as a writer of drama and fiction, as well as a journalist. His mother, Rebecca Harding Davis, was a prominent writer during her day, and his father, Lemuel Clarke Davis, was a journalist who also edited the Philadelphia Public Ledger.
