Richard House is a multitalented author, hailing from Cyprus, who has made a significant impact in the literary world with his thriller and gay fiction novels. Apart from his writing, House is also an established filmmaker, artist, and university lecturer. His teaching career is focused on assisting students in developing their research skills, discipline, and craft into creative works, a practice he has seamlessly applied to his own writing.
House is best known for his series of novels, The Kills, which gained significant recognition after being longlisted for the prestigious Booker Prize in 2013. Prior to The Kills, House had already published two novels, Bruiser and Uninvited, in the 1990s through Serpent's Tail. His debut novel, Bruiser, was even shortlisted for the Ferro Grumley Gay Fiction Award in the USA.
