Richard Kadrey

Richard Kadrey is a highly acclaimed American author, known for his works in paranormal fantasy and science fiction. He is best known for his Sandman Slim series, which has gained significant popularity and controversy. Kadrey's writing is characterized by its simplicity, yet it is also impenetrable, creative, and ingenious. His masterpieces are a reflection of real-life spectacles, distilled maneuvers, and unbelievable creativity.

In addition to his work as a novelist, Kadrey is also a freelance writer, having written for various publications such as Wired, the San Francisco Chronicle, Discovery Online, The Site, and SXSW. He has also ventured into fetish photography under the name Kaos Beauty Klinik. Kadrey's story, Carbon Copy, was made into a television movie starring Bridget Fonda, and his Sandman Slim series is in the process of being adapted to film.

Kadrey is a writer and freelance musician currently living in Pittsburgh. He is best known for his Sandman Slim novels, which have been nominated for the Locus and BSFA awards. His newest books include The Secrets of Insects, released in August 2023; The Dead Take the A Train (with Cassandra Khaw), released in September 2023; and The Pale House Devil, also released in September 2023.

Aside from his books, Kadrey has also written for film and comics, including Heavy Metal, Lucifer, and Hellblazer. He is also a musician, making music with the band, A Demon in Fun City. Kadrey's work has been nominated for both the BSFA and Locus awards, further cementing his status as a leading figure in the world of speculative fiction.
