Robert Fabbri is a Swiss author who has made a name for himself in the world of historical fiction novels. He is the writer of several series, including the Vespasian series, the Crossroads Brotherhood series, and the Alexander's Legacy series. Fabbri was drawn to write about Vespasian due to his fascinating career that took him all around the Roman Empire. This interest in Vespasian and the Roman Empire is a reflection of Fabbri's life-long passion for ancient history.
Before becoming a novelist, Fabbri worked for a quarter of a century as an assistant director in both film and TV. He has been involved in a number of high-profile productions, such as Hornblower, Hellraiser, Patriot Games, and Billy Elliot. This experience in the film and TV industry has given Fabbri a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of narrative structure, which he brings to his writing.
Fabbri read Drama and Theatre at London University and has always had a passion for storytelling. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting hand-painted 25mm lead soldiers, which is a testament to his attention to detail and his love of history. Fabbri currently lives in both London and Berlin, where he continues to write and indulge in his passion for ancient history.
