Robert Pobi

Robert Pobi is a bestselling international author, known for his thrilling mystery novels. His works have been translated into over fifteen languages and published in nineteen countries worldwide. Prior to his career as an author, Pobi was a dealer in Georgian antiques for over a decade. He draws inspiration from his diverse experiences and interests, which include fishing for monstrous pike in Finland and great white sharks in Montauk.

Pobi's writing style is heavily influenced by his eclectic background and his time spent in various locations. He owns a cabin in the country, devoid of modern conveniences like television, Internet, and telephone service. During the warmer months, he enjoys spending time there and heads to a nearby town hall to check his emails. As the weather turns colder, he migrates to his Florida home, where he lives by the beach and continues his writing, often with a glass of whiskey at hand. His writing desk has an interesting history, having once belonged to Roberto Calvi, a fact that still intrigues his housekeeper.

In addition to his writing, Pobi is an expert in English period furniture and enjoys cooking. He is particularly known for his coq au vin. Although he is often on the move, Pobi spends most of his time in Montreal, Canada. His novels have achieved widespread success, making bestseller lists in more than twenty-five countries.
