Robert Scott is an American author, crime expert, and investigative journalist who has written more than eighteen true crime novels. His work includes the Jaycee Lee Dugard story, Shattered Innocence, which provides a unique perspective on the case. Scott has traveled extensively across the American West to research his books, from the mountainous regions of Wyoming to the sunny beaches of southern California.
Scott has authored numerous true crime novels, including ROPE BURNS, SAVAGE LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON, DANGEROUS ATTRACTION, MARRIED TO MURDER, KILL OR BE KILLED, UNHOLY SACRIFICE, DEADFALL, MONSTER SLAYER, KILLER DAD, DRIVEN TO MURDER, LUST TO KILL, RIVERS OF BLOOD, MOST WANTED, KILLER BLOOD FRENZY, SHATTERED INNOCENCE, AND THEN SHE KILLED HIM, THE GIRL IN THE LEAVES. He has also written a fictional book, Death in the Valley, set in 19th century Yosemite, and a book about bohemian poet Nora May French, The Dark Side of Bohemia.
In addition to his written work, Scott has been featured in several television shows, including TRU, Discovery ID, and A&E networks. His e-books on Kindle include Nightmare in Paradise, The Campground Killer, When the Streets Ran Red, Wild Card, The Fatal Moment, Dystiny's Last Journey, and Vanished in the Night. Scott has traveled to various locations in the American West, including the ranchlands of New Mexico and the fog-shrouded Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, while researching his books.
