Born and raised in the United States, Hatcher currently resides in Idaho with her husband, sharing their home with a demanding Papillon dog and a persnickety tuxedo cat. Her children are grown, and she enjoys being a mother and grandmother. When she's not writing, Hatcher enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the beautiful Idaho outdoors, Bible art journaling, reading books that make her cry, watching romantic movies, and decorative planning.
Hatcher began her writing career in the general market, writing leisure books. However, after being born again in 1997 and accepting her calling to write stories of faith, love, and courage, she began publishing her novels under five main series: Sisters of Bethlehem Spring, Coming to America, Where the Heart Lives, Hart's Crossing, and Kings Meadow Romance. Her books have been translated into various languages, including Chinese, Dutch, and French.
Hatcher is active on her Facebook Author Page, where she enjoys interacting with readers. She encourages readers to join her there and on BookBub, where they can receive new book and special deal alerts. While her faith-based fiction has been published from 1999 to present, she continues to write emotionally charged and heartwarming stories that resonate with readers around the world.
