Robyn Harding

Robyn Harding is a successful author, best known for her series of mystery thrillers. Born and raised in Quesnel, British Columbia, a small town with limited entertainment options, Harding turned to creative writing at a young age. Inspired by authors such as SE Hinton, she hoped to publish her own novel by the time she was seventeen. In addition to Hinton, Harding was an avid reader of Archie Comics, Nancy Drew, and horse-related literature.

After high school, Harding moved to Vancouver to pursue her post-secondary education. She studied journalism, English literature, and marketing, eventually finding work in the advertising industry. Although she enjoyed advertising at first, the politics, egos, and deadlines soon made the job stressful and unbearable. At this point, Harding was a mother to a young daughter and son, and the demands of advertising and motherhood became too much to handle. She left advertising after seven years and turned to writing full-time.

By 2004, Harding had published her first novel, "The Journal of Mortifying Moments." She went on to write four more adult novels, drawing from her own experiences to explore themes of embarrassment, struggles to fit in, and insecurities. Harding currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she writes screenplays, nonfiction, and fiction. In addition to her writing, Harding is also a dog lover and shares her home with two rescue chihuahuas.
