Robyn Young

Robyn Young is a highly acclaimed author of historical fiction novels. She was born in September 1975 in Oxford, England and grew up in the Midlands and a small fishing village in Devon. From a young age, Young discovered her talent for storytelling through her grandfather. She was further encouraged by an enthusiastic English teacher who introduced her to poetry and nurtured her writing skills. Young's early achievements in writing included winning poetry awards and editing a page in the regional newspaper.

Young left home at the age of seventeen to pursue her A-levels at Exeter College. During her time there, she developed a keen interest in the works of Shakespeare and was elected as the communications officer for the student union. She also edited the college magazine, showcasing her writing and editorial skills. Young later attended the University of Sussex, where she earned her Master's degree in Creative Writing, the Arts and Education.

As a professional writer, Robyn Young has made a significant mark in the literary world with her compelling historical fiction novels. She is best known for her Sunday Times bestselling trilogies, BRETHREN and INSURRECTION, as well as the NEW WORLD RISING series. In addition to her historical fiction works, Young also writes crime thrillers under the name Erin Young. She currently resides in Brighton, England.
