Ronni Davis

Ronni Davis is a contemporary YA author who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. As a young person, she tried her best to fit in with her peers, but ultimately found it difficult to do so. Despite these challenges, Davis persevered and went on to attend The Ohio State University, where she earned a BA in Psychology.

After graduating from college, Davis worked in a variety of fields, including insurance and yoga instruction. She also became a cat mom, a role that no doubt brings her great joy and companionship. Today, Davis lives in Chicago, where she works as a copy editor during the day and a YA author at night.

In her writing, Davis focuses on contemporary teen novels that feature brown girls falling in love. This is a refreshing and much-needed perspective in the world of YA literature, and Davis's work is sure to resonate with many readers. When she's not writing, Davis can be found indulging in a variety of hobbies, including playing the Sims, satisfying her sweet tooth, and planning trips to Disney World.
