Ross Armstrong is a renowned screen and stage actor, and writer, hailing from the United Kingdom. He has made a name for himself with his performances in London's West End, as well as in various theaters across the UK and on Broadway. Armstrong has had the privilege of sharing the stage with notable actors such as Jude Law in Hamlet, Joseph Fiennes in Cyrano de Bergerac, Maxine Peake in Deep Blue Sea, and Kim Cattrall. His television appearances include Jonathan Creek, Ripper Street, Foyles War, DCI Banks, and Mr. Selfridge.
Armstrong pursued his undergraduate studies in Theatre and English Literature at the Warwick University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went on to attend the National Youth Theater, where he rubbed shoulders with contemporaries such as Rafe Spall and Matt Smith. After completing his stint in the acting field, Armstrong decided to further his studies by enrolling in a 3-year course at the RADA. It was during his time at RADA that Armstrong won the Poetry Writing Prize. His writing career consists of only one book, "The Watcher," which he was inspired to write after moving into a newly bought apartment block.
Aside from his acting and writing career, Armstrong is based in North London and has studied English Literature at Warwick University and acting at RADA. He has performed on stage with the RSC in shows such as "Oppenheimer" in the West End and with the Donmar in "Hamlet" on Broadway, as well as numerous TV appearances including "Foyles War," "Jonathan Creek," "Mr Selfridge," "DCI Banks," and the upcoming series of "Ripper Street." "The Watcher" is his first novel, showcasing his talent in the literary world.
