Ruth Ware

Ruth Ware is a highly successful British author, best known for her psychological crime thriller books. Her work has captivated readers around the world, earning her a place on the New York Times Bestseller list. One of her most popular novels, The Woman in Cabin 10, has received critical acclaim and significant commercial success. In addition to this, her novel In A Dark, Dark Wood was optioned by New Line Cinema to be a major motion picture.

Growing up in the charming town of Lewes on the south coast of England, Ruth Ware developed a love for literature and storytelling at a young age. After graduating from Manchester University, she spent some time in the romantic city of Paris before eventually settling in North London. Her experiences living in these diverse locations have no doubt influenced her writing, providing her with a wealth of inspiration to draw from.

Before becoming a full-time author, Ruth Ware worked a variety of jobs, including waitress, bookseller, teacher of English as a foreign language, and press officer. These experiences have given her a unique perspective on life and have helped her to develop the skills necessary to craft compelling and engaging stories. She is now married with two small children and continues to write from her home on the south coast of England.
