Zacharias Tanee Fomum

Zacharias Tanee Fomum was a renowned Cameroonian author, known for his spiritual, religious, and Christian stories. He has written over 150 books, many of which have become bestsellers and have sold more than five million printed copies worldwide. Some of his most popular book series include the Prayer Power series, God, Sex and You series, and several standalone books. Fomum's writings continue to inspire and influence people to this day, encouraging them to do good deeds in life.

In addition to his writing career, Fomum was also a well-known figure in the world of academia. He was a professor of Organic Chemistry and had over 160 publications to his name, which appeared in leading international journals. In 2005, Fomum published some of his scientific works, which were evaluated by prominent scientists from around the world and found to be highly distinctive. This achievement earned him a Doctor of Science degree from Durham University, Great Britain.

He was a man of exceptional spiritual depth and a leading voice in the Christian revival movement. Fomum was the founding team leader of Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI), a missionary and church-planting movement that has established churches in over 130 countries around the world. He was dedicated to spreading the Gospel, making disciples for Christ, planting churches, and building spiritual leaders according to biblical principles. Fomum was particularly passionate about prayer and teaching others to pray.

Despite his many achievements, Fomum lived a simple life with the support of his wife and seven children. He gave his all—time, money, heart, and soul—to serving the body of Christ and sharing the message of hope and salvation through Jesus. Fomum's legacy continues to impact the world with the Gospel today, through his books and the millions of people he influenced in more than 40 years of Christian ministry.
