Zoraida Córdova is a renowned author of urban fantasy and romance novels, who was born in Ecuador but grew up in New York. She learned to speak English by watching The Little Mermaid and Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker repeatedly. Córdova is well-known for her novels Labyrinth Lost, which was named one of the Best Books of 2016 by Paste Magazine and has been optioned by Paramount Studios. The author loves merdudes, Christmas, and New York City at night, all things that are sparkly.

She is the co-editor of the bestselling anthology Vampires Never Get Old and co-hosts the writing podcast, Deadline City. Córdova was born in Ecuador and raised in Queens, New York. She serves on the Board of We Need Diverse Books and writes romance novels under the name Zoey Castile. When she's not working, she's traveling the world in search of magical stories.
