Ann Sutton, an accomplished author, was first introduced to the captivating world of reading by the renowned mystery writer Agatha Christie when she was just ten years old. This experience had a profound impact on Sutton, sparking a lifelong love for mysteries that has lasted to this day.
Born and raised in England, Sutton pursued higher education and graduated college with a double honors in Education and French. During her time in college, she spent a year abroad in France teaching English, where she met her Californian husband. After getting married in London, the couple moved to California, and together they raised their family while traveling all around the United States before finally settling in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Sutton's writing journey began in earnest when her youngest child was in middle school, and the Covid lockdown provided her with the opportunity to take her writing to the next level. As a result, she created the best-selling Dodo Dorchester Mystery Series, which has sold over 100,000 units to date. Despite the success of her writing, Sutton remains humble and dedicated to her craft, always looking for ways to improve and connect with her readers.
