Anna Bennett is an accomplished author, best known for her award-winning series, the Wayward Wallflowers and Debutante Diaries. She has a particular interest in historical romance, which began to take shape during her time in London as a college student.
Bennett, an American author, developed a fondness for historical romances as a teenager, finding herself particularly drawn to the allure of Regency-era stories filled with grand balls, aristocratic titles, and elegant gowns. This fascination led her to pursue a semester of study in London, where she fell in love with the city's rich history and culture. Although she deviated from her dream of becoming a romance author and pursued a career in software analysis for a time, she later returned to her true passion.
After changing careers and focusing on her writing, Bennett's hard work paid off when she won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart® for Regency Historical Romance. Living in Maryland with her husband and three children, she continues to write captivating stories set in the Regency era. Her family remains supportive, though they sometimes tease her for frequently quoting Jane Austen. In her leisure time, Anna Bennett indulges in her weaknesses for reality TV, stylish shoes, and coffee.
