Aric Davis is a horror, young adult, mystery, and thriller author from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is married and has one daughter. For more than fifteen years, Davis worked as a body piercer before becoming a full-time author. His lifelong passion for reading is what ultimately led him to a career in writing. Despite having dreamed of becoming a published author for years, he never had the time to write anything down due to his demanding job. It wasn't until the publication of "Nickel Plated," the first novel in the "Nickel" series, that he decided to quit his job and pursue writing full time.
In addition to being an author, Davis is also a punk rock aficionado and is always on the lookout for opportunities to promote good bands. He enjoys weather that is cool enough to require a sweatshirt but not a coat, and he values friends who are open and sincere. Besides reading and writing, Davis also enjoys roller coasters, hockey, and cigars. He has written nearly a dozen novels and a couple of novellas, including "From Ashes Rise: A Novel of Michigan," "Nickel Plated," "A Good and Useful Hurt," "The Black Death: A Dead Man Novella," "Rough Men," "Breaking Point," "The Fort," "Tunnel Vision," "Weavers," and "The Vanderbilt."
