Bill Thesken

Bill Thesken is an American author who has made a name for himself in the genres of action, adventure, and crime novels. Born in East Los Angeles, Thesken had a unique upbringing that influenced his writing. At the age of nineteen, he embarked on a journey to Ketchikan, Alaska, where he worked on the docks for a month. This experience was followed by a move to a Pacific island, where he resides to this day with his wife, children, and their jungle cat, Cleo.

Thesken's writing journey began as a tribute to his father, who was an avid reader of crime novels. Inspired by his father's love for the genre, Thesken wrote his first crime novel, 'Edge of the Pit', followed by 'The Catalina Cabal'. He has since published a total of fifteen books, including 'Quick Read', 'Legend of the Broken Paddle', and the three-book middle school series 'Hunt For The Wild'. Thesken's most recent work, 'Poets and Philosophers', is a mystery crime thriller.

Thesken's writing process is one of passion and dedication. He describes it as "transcendental neuro-athletics, hand eye mind coordination typing as fast as you can to keep up with the flow of words as they build a world on paper." This enthusiasm for writing is evident in the fifteen books he has published so far, with more on the way.

Living on a five-million-year-old volcanic island in the middle of the Pacific ocean has provided Thesken with a unique perspective that is reflected in his writing. He has published a total of fifteen books, with six of them being written during the pandemic. Thesken's birthday is on June 1, the first day of Hurricane Season, which he jokingly says explains a lot. With a successful career in writing and a passion for his craft, Thesken continues to build worlds on paper and captivate readers with his action-packed novels.
