David Tunno

David Tunno is a retired trial consultant with a career spanning over 30 years. He began his career in 1989 with Litigation Sciences, Inc., before founding Tunno & Associates in 1993. During his career, Tunno has consulted on numerous high-profile cases, including the Rodney King, O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, Oklahoma bombing, Tyco, and Michael Jackson cases. He has also provided expert commentary for NBC, MSNBC, CBS, KABC TV, WABC TV, KCBS, Fox, Court TV, The New York Times, and the BBC. Tunno has also been a guest commentator for the KABC TV in Los Angeles and CBS’s “Good Morning America” program, as well as appearing on MSNBC and Court TV. He has also been solicited for comments by The New York Times and the Canadian Broadcast Corp.

In addition to his work as a trial consultant, Tunno is also a WGA-affiliated screenwriter. His novel, Intrepid Spirit, is an action-adventure thriller based on one of his screenplays. The novel is a unique blend of history, romance, and the supernatural in a modern-day high-seas adventure. The plot is impressively inventive, and the action sequences are vivid and explosive. The novel has received critical acclaim and has been a finalist in both the Adventure Writers Competition and the Chanticleer Global Thriller Awards.

Tunno holds a B.A. in theater and was a professional actor with stage, film, and TV experience. He is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He also holds an M.A. in Communications with radio, film, and television production experience. He was a radio news director and broadcaster and newspaper columnist. Tunno is also a sailor with blue water and yacht racing experience, and a pilot of a WWII-era biplane and hot air balloons. He lives near Prescott, Arizona, and enjoys writing fiction and flying. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from University of Portland, in Oregon.
