Dee Davis is a successful author of romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance novels. She has an impressive educational background, holding a BA in Political Science and History, as well as a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Prior to her writing career, Davis spent ten years working in public relations. During this time, she was highly active in various areas of the field, including spending three years on the public speaking circuit, editing newsletters, writing award-winning public service announcements, and appearing in television and radio commercials. She also starred in the Seven Year Itch, taught college classes, lobbied both the Texas State Legislature and the US Congress, and served as the director of two different associations.
Davis's first novel, Everything In Its Time, was published in July 2000 and marked the beginning of her successful writing career. She has since won multiple awards for her work, including the Booksellers Best, Golden Leaf, Texas Gold, and Prism awards. In addition, she has been nominated for the National Readers Choice Award, the Holt, and two RT Reviewers Choice Awards. Her writing portfolio includes over thirty novels and novellas, such as the A-Tac series and Cottage in the Mist. When she's not writing, Davis enjoys spending time exploring Connecticut with her husband, daughter, and Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Despite her current residence in Connecticut, Davis still considers Texas her home.
