The series follows the story of an ordinary businessman who becomes embroiled in fighting crime and corruption. Chatterson's own life experiences have provided inspiration for the series, with some of the stories being based on his own nightmares. He has also published a collection of short stories and is working on other writing projects. Chatterson is an avid runner and has completed nine marathons after the age of fifty.
