Emma Kavanagh is a bestselling author from the United Kingdom, known for her mystery and thriller novels. She was born in Wales in 1978 and went on to study psychology at the university level. After graduating, she established her own business as a psychology consultant, specializing in human performance in extreme situations. For over five years, Kavanagh provided consultation and training services to the police force, military personnel, and NATO throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

Kavanagh's background in psychology and her experience working with police and military personnel have greatly influenced her writing. She has a deep understanding of human behavior and performance in high-pressure situations, which she incorporates into her thrilling and suspenseful novels. Currently, Kavanagh lives in South Wales with her husband and their son.
