Emma Mills

Emma Mills is a British author who is well known for her Young Adult urban fantasy novels. She is best known for her WitchBlood series, which she began writing in 2010, after her youngest child started attending school. Mills is a stay-at-home mother and lives in Somerset, England with her husband and two children, as well as a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish.

Mills began her writing career with the debut novel of the WitchBlood series, "WitchBlood," which was released in 2012. She completed the series in 2016 with the final book, "WitchWar." The series follows the story of a young woman named Jess, who discovers she is a witch and must navigate the world of the supernatural. Mills' fans were so devoted to the series that she decided to write an additional book, "WitchWar," to satisfy their needs. The author has stated that she believes her books contain all the elements that readers are looking for, including supernatural elements, heartbreak, resolution, and fear.

Emma Mills is also known for her YouTube channel, Elmify and co-creator and co-host of the "life skills" channel How to Adult, which ended in 2016. She holds a PhD in cell biology. Mills was born in the United Kingdom but currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri. She has always had a love for reading and writing, and developed an obsession for supernatural teen stories, particularly the Twilight series. This obsession led her to write her own supernatural story, based in Manchester, UK, where she grew up. She couldn't decide whether to write about vampires or witches, so she chose to write about both in her WitchBlood series.
