Erica James

Erica James is a highly respected British author, best known for her work in romance, contemporary, and general fiction. Born Erica Sullivan in Surrey, England in 1960, she was raised on Hayling Island, Hampshire from the age of four. James has penned numerous bestselling novels, including "Love & Devotion," "Airs & Graces," "Hidden Talents," "A Breath of Fresh Air," and "Gardens of Delight." She has also collaborated with other authors, contributing to the anthology "What A Woman Wants."

In 2006, James's novel "Gardens of Delight" won the Romantic Novelists' Association's Romantic Novel of the Year Award, bringing her significant acclaim and attention from readers worldwide. Her ability to create authentic characters is due in part to her habit of striking up conversations with strangers, much to the embarrassment of her two grown-up sons.
