Erin Morgenstern

Erin Morgenstern is a successful American author, best known for her fantasy novels. She was born in Marshfield, Massachusetts, where she grew up. As a young teenager, Erin began writing, a passion that would stay with her for years to come. She pursued her love for the arts and theater by studying studio art and theater at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. Although she studied playwriting in college, she never finished any plays. However, her interest in writing persisted, and she would later become a serious writer.

Erin Morgenstern's writing career took some time to take off. After graduating from college, she thought about writing for a while before getting serious about it. She faced numerous rejections from literary agents, but she remained determined and hopeful. Eventually, she signed with Inkwell Management in 2010 and received an offer from Doubleday for her debut novel, The Night Circus. The novel was a massive success, becoming a number-one national bestseller and translated into thirty-seven languages. It won the Locus Award for Best Debut Novel, solidifying Erin's place as a successful author.

Erin Morgenstern has a degree in theater from Smith College and currently resides in Massachusetts with her husband. Besides writing, she is a multimedia artist and enjoys painting, particularly in acrylics. Her favorite painting is the Phantomwise tarot deck. Despite facing numerous rejections early in her career, Erin remained determined and never lost faith in her writing. Her perseverance eventually paid off, and she became a successful and acclaimed author.
