Finley Martin is a well-known American author, celebrated for his mystery and suspense novels. He has written several standalone books, including "Killing at Little Rose," "Sailing in Circles Going Somewhere," "The Reluctant Detective," and "The Dead Letter." The latter two novels are part of the Anne Brown book series. Martin was born in Binghamton, New York, and spent his childhood in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
After completing his education at Scranton University with a bachelor's degree in English, Martin served as an officer in the US Marine Corps during the 1960s. His military postings took him to various parts of America, the Caribbean, and Asia. Once he returned to civilian life, Martin pursued a career in public relations, photography, and freelance writing. He eventually became the public relations director at the International Correspondence Schools.
Finley Martin now resides in the small fishing village of Beach Point, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
