George Mahood

George Mahood is an award-winning writer, best known for his non-fiction series, DNF (Did Not Finish), which chronicles his misadventures in running, cycling, and swimming. Mahood's writing is inspired by his personal experiences, and his stories are so captivating that readers can't help but keep turning the pages.

Mahood studied English Literature and Communication Studies at Leeds University. After graduating, he spent a year traveling in the USA, working in various jobs such as charity fundraising and garlic bread making. Currently, he works as a wedding photographer, lead singer and guitarist of his band, and a midfielder in a Sunday-league football team. Despite his busy schedule, Mahood still finds time to write and has published fourteen non-fiction books.

In addition to his writing, Mahood is also an active social media user, where he shares updates on his upcoming projects and connects with his readers. He has a sense of humor and isn't afraid to poke fun at himself, as evidenced by his third-place finish in the Little Brington Village Fete's limerick competition (Under 10s category) in 1988. Mahood currently resides in Devon with his wife, three children, and an assortment of pets. His fans eagerly await his future works, knowing that they will be filled with his unique brand of humor and captivating storytelling.
