James Twining

James Twining is a distinguished British author, well-known for his thriller novels. Born in London, Twining spent a significant portion of his childhood in Paris, which would later provide rich cultural contexts for his literary work. After graduating from Christ Church, Oxford with a first-class degree in French Literature, he embarked on a career in the business sector. His early professional journey included working in the corporate finance division of SBC Warburg, now known as UBS, where he specialized in hostile bids, defenses, and leveraged buyouts.

In 1999, Twining decided to venture into entrepreneurship and established his own company. His success in this arena was recognized in 2001 when he was named one of the 'Best of Young British' entrepreneurs in The New Statesman. However, his passion for literature never waned, and he eventually transitioned to becoming a full-time writer.

Twining is the creator of the Tom Kirk series, a collection of thriller novels that have captivated readers. His unique background in finance and his familiarity with different cultures, particularly French and British, have significantly contributed to his storytelling. He currently resides in London with his wife, Victoria, where he continues to write and expand his literary portfolio.
