Jane Riley is a literary fiction author who was born and raised in New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in French and English literature, she traveled to Europe to practice her French and eventually settled in Australia. Riley has had a varied career, including positions in public relations, publishing, and freelance writing and editing. She also launched an online e-commerce business and wrote a design blog featuring interviews with makers and creators. Currently, Riley volunteers as an English language tutor for the Adult Migrant English Program in Sydney.
Riley is best known for her debut novel, "The Likely Resolutions of Oliver Clock," which was shortlisted for the Kindle bestseller in the US and the UK. She is married to an Englishman but continues to reside in Sydney, Australia. Riley has also published several nonfiction works, including "Flavored with Love" and "Solomon's Porch." In addition to her writing and editing career, she enjoys learning the piano and teaching herself Italian.
