Janice Cantore is an accomplished American author, born and raised in Southern California. She has always had a passion for writing, but initially pursued a different career path, earning a college degree in biological science and physical education. Later, she decided to become a police officer, a profession she pursued for 22 years in Long Beach, California. During her time in the police force, Cantore worked in various departments, including patrol, administration, juvenile investigations, and training. These experiences would later become valuable resources for her writing, particularly in her crime and investigation novels.
Cantore's faith has always been an essential part of her life, and she has been active in publishing articles in Cop and Christ, a quarterly newspaper, and Todays Christian Woman, a monthly news bulletin. After retiring from the police force, she decided to focus on her writing, publishing her first series of novels, the Pacific Coast Justice series, featuring Carly Edwards in books Accused, Abducted and Avenged. She has since written several other series, including the Brinna's Heart series and the Line of Duty series, which have been well-received by readers and critics alike. Her novels are suspenseful and engaging, leaving readers inspired. Cantore now resides near the Gulf Coast in Florida, where she enjoys swimming, bike riding, golf, and walking her dogs, Abbie and Tilly. She remains active in the writing community and connects with her readers through her website and social media.
