Jennifer Fawcett is a talented author and playwright who grew up in rural Eastern Ontario, Canada. From a young age, Fawcett was drawn to the world of theater and spent many years in Canada making it her career before moving to the United States. Her passion for storytelling and writing led her to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the prestigious Iowa Playwrights Workshop.
Fawcett is a founding member of Working Group Theatre, and her work has been performed in theaters across the country. She has also had her work published in several respected literary magazines, including Third Coast Magazine, Reunion: The Dallas Review, and Storybrink. In addition, her short stories have been featured in the anthology Long Story Short.
Fawcett's writing style is characterized by her ability to create vivid and engaging worlds that draw readers in and keep them hooked. Her debut novel, Beneath the Stairs, is set to be published by Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, in February 2022. The novel promises to be a thrilling and suspenseful read, showcasing Fawcett's storytelling prowess.
When she is not writing, Fawcett teaches writing at Skidmore College and lives in upstate New York with her husband and son. Her love for storytelling and writing is evident in her work, and she continues to inspire and captivate audiences with her unique voice and storytelling style.
